Back to Soaring Gardens for a two-week stay... this time we were in the house (as opposed to last summer when we were in the church). Weather was beautiful and it was a productive time. I was mostly working with gouache on etchings...

Gouache on etching with a detail shot to the right... I made the grid etching in Carbondale and did the painting in PA.

Gouache on etching... the white figures are actually embossed with stencils when I print the etching. The gouache follows. The two characters on the right one are CMYk screenprinted. These two images are 24"x18".

This is the second story studio where I spent most of my time.

I had time to make these two silkscreens at ths SIUC printshop before leaving for the residency. They are each printed on 30" x 22" paper.
