From Frans Masereel Centrum in Kasterlee Belgium. Leslie and I proposed and executed a collaborative silkscreen piece, House/Huis, over the course of a three-week residency. The idea was to get there and respond to the architecture and art... we chose to focus on the simple house forms we saw in Kasterlee as well as Smurf imagery (the Smurfs were created in Belgium). The simple house form is used to make larger structures... scroll down to see a more finished assemby.
