This series of snakes and stripes are all screenprints. I see them largely as an excuse to cut rubylith film stencils and use bright, loud colors. Snakes have a really ambigous relationship to space and function as a good vehicle for stripes. The prints range in size from 10"x8" to 30"x22". The earliest ones are from 2007.
