J A S O N U R B A NURBANSTUDIO + EXHIBITIONS + ACADEMICS + BIBLIOGRAPHY + LINKS + CONTACT

May 7th, 2007. After months without an update... finally. The first two images are from my show at Fort Gondo Compound for the Arts...

A collaborative piece called "Brrr..." that Leslie and I did for Prainting and Printstallation, an SGC exhibition curated by Stephanie Dotson and Matt Hopson-Walker. This show was at Green Door Gallery in Kansas City. The bears are digital on adhesive paper and the igloo is made of coroplast. Here's a link to more pics.

A 30" x 22" silkscreen... the color is taken from good & plenty candy...

I guess this is a pretty wierd thing... Kitten Sticks... a "Hang in there..." motivational message... 32"x2"x1"

And I'm still working with Gouache on etchings... in this case there's CMYK images silkscreened into them. It's a conglomeration of a bunch of things... heavily influenced by the showcard for the Fort Gondo exhibition (see above). I'm hoping to make a lot of progress on this series over the summer.
