Subprime Mortgage Quilt, 6' x 6', thread on Muslin, 2008.

This piece is for Power & Currency, a show curated by Natalie Kates at Factory Fresh in Brooklyn. The picture quality for these images are not the best but I think they communicate the general idea (the color is most accurate in the bottom pic). This piece is something totally different for me. I couldn't have completed it without the help and guidance of Debbie Wright (not to mention her machine-quilter- like a machine gun with thread). Thanks again, Debbie.
